What you get
16 structured sessions over 8 weeks Two fixed sessions per week in a closed group with max 4 pairs. All sessions follow a clear progression plan, and intensity is adjusted individually. Throughout the course, you'll also have access to a private Facebook group with direct access to the trainer. The group is used for follow-up, questions and support between sessions.
Analysis, mid-course and final evaluation We start with a Tanita body analysis, follow up after 4 weeks and finish with a new measurement. Progress is documented — and the course is adjusted where needed. All measurements and analyses are conducted privately — you choose whether to share your results or not.
Technique and fundamentals of strength training You'll learn correct execution of key compound exercises. The goal is not just progress now, but competence you take with you.
Nutrition booklet and structure A practical setup that supports your training. No extreme diets — just structure, understanding and continuity.
Extra training opportunity every Sunday For those who want more, Stange Privat Gym opens 4:00–12:00 PM every Sunday exclusively for course participants. Training without an instructor, but perfect for practicing technique or burning extra calories!

How we measure progress

Progress isn't necessarily about a lower number on the bathroom scale. We evaluate a holistic average of:

Change in muscle mass

Change in body fat percentage

Total improvement in body composition

This means that even if your body fat percentage doesn't drop dramatically, you can win by building more muscle mass and improving your body's overall composition. The goal is a generally stronger body — building the confidence to use it!

Frequently asked questions
I'm new to training – can I still join?

Yes. DUO Start is designed for those who want to get started – not for elite athletes.

Sessions are adapted to your level, and the program includes:

  • Sessions focused on learning and technique
  • Sessions with more pace and intensity

The goal is for you to feel mastery and progression – regardless of starting point.

When are the training sessions held?

Training is held on two fixed days per week.

Sessions are generally scheduled for afternoon/evening on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but final times are agreed with participants before start.

Who can be my partner?

Your partner can be:

A spouse, sibling, child (16+), friend or colleague.

What matters most is that you both want to follow through together. You don't need to be at the same fitness level – exercises and intensity are adjusted individually.

It helps to choose someone who's already motivated to make a lifestyle change!

What does a typical session look like?

A typical session lasts 60 minutes and includes:

  • Structured warm-up and session plan overview
  • Main part with strength and/or cardio (we use various forms of circuit training)
  • Instructor guidance throughout
  • Wrap-up with summary

Some sessions focus more on theory, technique and understanding, others have higher intensity.

What happens after I register?

After you register, we'll call with information about the next course start date, session times and similar details.

During the call, you can ask any questions you have and decide whether you'd like to be put on the waiting list or not.
